Description
2 Vintage c1960 Sunbonnet Sue Baby or Crib Quilts. Quilt with Sue and Sam measures 36 by 45 inches it is comprised of 20 blocks, 7.5 by 7.5 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, with a pieced 3.25 inch scalloped border. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. There is a white cotton reverse and thin cotton batting. The edge is finished with an applied light blue fabric binding. Condition is good, there are several yellow and brown spots scattered throughout the quilt. The Sunbonnet Sue medallion quilt measures 35 by 40 inches. There is an 8 by 10 hand appliquéd and hand embroidered block in the center surrounded by 1.5 inch squares ofvarious cotton, cotton polyesters, corduroy, and other fabrics. The reverse is a prequited floral print, the edge is finished with an applied green fabric binding. There are several ties throughout the quilt tying the back to the front. It is in good condition with no issues noted. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
