Description
Antique Silk 8 Pointed Star Comfort Quilt measuring 63 by 64 inches. It is comprised of 81 8 pointed stars measuring about 7 by 7 inches, set straight, 9 by 9 with black silk setting squares. It is hand pieced, hand embroidered, and hand tied. There is no batting and a red cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied black silk binding. There are hand embroidered turkey track stitches in yellow thread in each black fabric and along the perimeter on the binding.It is tied to the back at the center of each silk star. It is in fair condition with several silks showing deterioration and some small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
