Description
Antique c1880 8 Pointed Design Star Quilt measuring 85 by 89 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 10 by 10 inches, set on point, with solid white alternating squares and setting triangles. There is a solid white 8.5 inch border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, and applied by hand. There are hand embroidered initials in red thread in one corner, LS. It is in good condition with a few small spots and toning. The red fabric is intact. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
