Large Group of Vintage/Antique Hand Towels. The lot includes a mix of both vintage and antique hand towels and napkins featuring 17 mixed single huck linen/cotton hand towels with a variety of embellishments such as draw work, cut work, filet lace, tatting, needle lace, cut work, crochet, and embroidered A and B monograms. A pair of huck towels by Cannon with yellow borders and swallow motif. A pair of vintage white linen Christmas towels with hand embroidered mid century Christmas trees. 2 blue cotton towels with swan embroidery, a single blue cotton towel with floral embroidery and a tatted edge, a set of 6 cotton hand towels in shades of beige, blue, green and orange. 2 pair and 1 single antique white linen damask towels with draw work and hand knotted fringe, 1 blue and 1 yellow linen hand towel, a pair of white linen hand towels/napkins with sheer embroidered inserts, 5 vintage cotton towels with some being printed and others having striped ends, 1 vintage pack of Ritzie Dish Cloths in their original packaging. Some of the pieces are labeled Irish made and Czechoslovakia. The group is in good fair condition with some of the pieces having toning, spots, storage line discoloration, and a vinegar odor.
