Description
Group of Antique Woven Textiles. The lot includes a mix of 19th and early 20th century woven textiles featuring a 48” x 73” woven wool/cotton blanket featuring a bricks and bars pattern in shades of navy blue. red, grey, and green on a beige cotton ground. It has a machine sewn center seam and is in fair/poor condition with holes, toning, fading, and spots. an early 20th century partial 90” x 24.5” loomed cotton blanket half featuring a grid pattern. In fair condition with areas of toning. Also included is a 58” x 58” 19th century ladies wool shawl featuring a beige and olive checker pattern with a 3.5” long hand twisted fringe border. The piece has a museum label and could possibly be a de-accessioned piece. It is in fair condition with several holes and slight fading at the center. Please see the photos for details and condition.
