Description
Vintage c1940 Sun Bonnet Sue Quilt measuring 76 by 90 inches. It is comprised of 30 blocks, 12.5 by 12.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with a 7 inch border with appliquéd bonnets. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied off white cotton binding. It is in good condition with overall toning, age discoloration, small spots, and a watermark in the border. The quilt is sturdy and will withstand a gentle soak to brighten and bring back to it’s original beauty. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
