Description
Antique c1870 Half Square Triangle Quilt measuring 98 by 94 inches. It is comprised of 440 half square triangles, about 4 x 4 inches, set straight, 20 by 22. There is a brown print border 7 inches wide. It is hand pieced, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a brown Centennial print reverse. It is in poor condition with fabric deterioration, toning, spots, edge wear, and other imperfections. But it is a wonderful fabric library of 19th century prints including wall, paisley, shirting, Aldehyde green, Prussian blue, madder prints, and much more. This Quilt was part of the Judy Roche Estate. The proceeds for the sale of this quilt will benefit the American Quilt Study Group 2025 annual seminar in Portland Maine this year. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
