Antique Leather Sewing Cases and More. The lot includes 2, 19th century leather sewing cases and 1 vintage primitive sewing chetaline. Featuring 1 19th or early 20th century fine brown leather sewing roll lined in watermelon silk with canvas flaps for needles, ruched pockets, turkey track embroidery and a hard shell lidded tube for thread storage measuring 8.5” x 2 1/4” when rolled. In fair condition with general age related wear. 1 19th century promotional “The Ladies Companion Needle Case” leather purse-like needle case from Joseph Watsons & Sons, Whitehall Soap Works Leeds featuring yellow silk side panels, and pockets for various types of needles. When closed it measures 7” x 3” 3” x 1.5” and is in fair condition with wear and splits to the leather case and silk sides. Includes needles. 1 vintage possibly child made primitive chetaline featuring a felt face and collar with blanket stitched edges, button eyes, and embroidered features. As well a 4 krayon ribbons with rings at the bottom for holding safety pins. It measures 16” long by 6” wide and is in fair condition with slight toning. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
