Description
19th Century Pin Cushion with Storage. The lot includes 1 antique 19th Century rectangular printed cotton pin cushion mounted atop a possibly inlaid birch box with a drawer. It has the initials M.S, inlaid into the side. The drawer has an oak body, dovetail joints, and a turned bone knob with an iron curved bracket attached to the bottom with a turning screw to attach to a table. It measures 7” high x 2 1/4” wide x 4 1/4” deep. It is in fair condition with general age related wear, a chipped knob, and fading/toning to the printed cotton top.
