Description
6 Vintage Needlepoint Border Panels with complete embroidery. 2 long ones have backing, the 4 small ones have no backing or edging. All have some degree of fading. Gold Rococo scrolls on off white ground, 9.5×73″, has a red sareen backing that has faded, and small rings along one edge for hanging. Stylize flowers in vignettes against a green ground, 10×86″, short sides are unfinished, green sateen ground and rod pocket for hanging. The 4 shorter ones include flowers on black ground, 11×50″, embroidery loss and edge wear. Orange Scrolls on off white ground, 9×53″, water damage/bleeding. Gold Scrolls on natural ground, 9×55″, bleeding, discolorations. And pink flowers and green leaves on ivory ground, in 2 pieces, 9.5×27″ and 9.5×38″, good condition.
