Description
c1948 Black Satin Skirt and Petticoat. The lot includes 1 vintage black A line skirt (possibly by Mainbocher) and matching petticoat. The skirt is made of black acetate satin and has a high waist with a side metal zip closure. The petticoat features 2 heavily gathered layers of black tulle, a black acetate base at the hips, and a back metal zip closure. Laying flat tie skirt measures: waist: 12”, length: 40.5”. The petticoat measures: waist: 12”, length: 43”. The set is in fair condition with the black tulle in the petticoat beginning to fade and turn brown. Please see the photos.
