5 Vintage and Antique Leather Purses. The group includes 1 vintage c1950 brown leather and wood trapezoidal purse featuring tooled leather accents and a single strap most likely from Mexico. It measures 12” by 9” and is in poor condition with heavy deterioration to the leather portions. 1 antique c1900 tooled brown leather purse featuring art nouveau floral motifs, an oblong shape, and unique turn lock clasp. It measures 5.5” by 9” and is in poor condition with the leather lacing becoming brittle and breaking away.1 vintage c1940 brown leather belt purse featuring a trapezoidal shape, oxford style punch work, and a back strap. It measures 8” by 6” and is in fair condition with wear to the edges and the back strap. 1 vintage c1950 brown alligator purse made in the style of a briefcase/attache featuring gold tone findings and a unique clasp. It measures 8” by 6.5” and is in poor condition with splitting at the bottom edges and oxidation to the metal findings. 1 vintage c1960 brown cayman leather purse featuring a square shape and gold tone accents. It measures 9” by 8” and is in poor condition with tearing and splitting to the hide. Please see the photos for details and condition. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
