Description
Antique c1880 Grandmothers Pride Quilt measuring 73 x 86 inches. It is comprised of 30 blocks, 10 x 10 inches, set on point, 5 by 6, with solid green setting squares and triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a brown woven plaid cotton fabric reverse. The edge is finished with and applied fabric binding by hand. It is in fair condition with several spots, and a small hole by an edge. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author.
