Description
Antique c1890 Tobacco Leaf Quilt measuring 76 x 76 inches. It is comprised of 16 blocks, 16 x 16 inches, set straight, 4 by 4, with a 4.5 inch triple border of red, white, and green solid fabrics. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is medium loft cotton batting and an off white reverse the edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in fair condition with fading, overall toning, small spots, a small hole in the binding, and a small wear area on a leaf. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
