Description
Antique c1890 Pineapple Quilt measuring 86 x 86 inches. It is comprised of 9 blocks, 29 by 29 inches, set straight, 3 by 3. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is a medium loft cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse, almost like a cheesecloth. The edge is finished knife edge style, with a twill tape facing on the reverse. It is in good condition with just a few small spots and discolorations. Most likely a southern quilt. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
