Description
Vintage c1940 Water Lily Pad Embroidered Quilt measuring 74×86″. It is comprised of 20 blocks, 10.5×10.5″, set straight, 4 by 5, with 3″ green sashing, a 5.5″ green inner border, and a 5.5″ white scalloped white outer border with additional embroidered water lilies. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied green binding. It is in fair condition with edge wear to the binding and several small tears to the front, some repaired. Purchased in CT. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
