Description
2 Antique 19th Century Album Block Quilts. Includes a c1860 Indigo and white print Album Block Quilt measuring 65 by 78 inches. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with and applied cotton binding. It is in fair condition with overall edge wear, spots, and fade line discoloration. Along with a c1870 Album Block Quilt with green print setting squares and triangles. It measures 73 by 89 inches. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied green print fabric binding. It is also in fair condition with overall edge wear, some fading, and spots and fabric deterioration. This quilt has some really great fabrics including early purples, pinks and other brown fabrics.
