Description
2 Antique Blue and White Quilts. Includes a c1880 Drunkards Path Quilt measuring 77 by 76 inches. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with and applied white fabric binding. It is in poor condition with overall edge wear, fading, and spots. Along with a c1870 Carpenters Star quilt with a Flying Geese border, measuring 80 by 81 inches. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied white fabric binding, this may be a replacement. It is in poor condition with overall deterioration in both the indigo print and the white solid fabric.
