Home is Where the Heart Is Quilt made in 2008 BCQS (Black Canyon Quilt Show) Gone to Pieces Tuesday Quilt Group. It measures 49×40″, And features a variety of house, tree, and heart blocks in bright colors and prints. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. There are hand applied embellishments. It is in good condition. There is a sleeve on the back for hanging and a label. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
