Description
3 Antique late 19th to early 20th Century Textile Swatch books including 580 fabric samples. These textile swatchbooks are self collected and arranged. There is a book of 27 1890-1920 Silk Jacquards and Orientals, and more. A book of 324 1860 French geometric jacquards. And a book of 239 1890 French silk jacquards, geometrics, florals, and stripes. The fabrics are in good condition, the books are in fair condition. This fabric sample collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
