3 Antique late 19th Century Textile Swatch books including 720 fabric samples. These textile swatchbooks are self collected and arranged. There is a book of 161 1880-1900 Silk plaids. A book of 89 1900 silk moires. And a book of 470 1890 German silk jacquard florals, moires, and plaids. The fabrics are in good condition, the books are in fair condition. This fabric sample collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
