Description
Antique c1900 4 Patch Comfort Quilt measuring 70×84″. Comprised of 56 4 patch blocks, 6.5 x 6.5 inches, set straight, 7 by 8, with 3.25 inch indigo sashing, and borders on 3 sides. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand tied at regular intervals with a red yarn. There is medium loft cotton batting and an indigo print reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style on 2 sides, and back to front on 2 sides, by hand. The quilt was purchased at auction in the 1990s in rural Kansas, and was told it was never used. It is in very good condition. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
