Group of 5 Contemporary Christmas Art and Mini Quilts. The group includes 5 Christmas themed art quilts made by Bobbie Aug. Featuring 1 Snowflake art quilt in red, green, and white Christmas themed fabrics. It is machine pieced and machine quilted with a poly batting. It measures 28.5” x 29” and is signed by Bobbi Aug. It is in good condition. 1 primitive country Santa themed art quilt by Bobbi Aug featuring 4 primitive old St. Nick iron on appliques with fuzzy beards with a candy cane border and back with poly batting. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It measures 10” x 14” and is signed by Bobbi. In good condition. 1 Christmas art quilt by Carla Hale 1/6/1995 featuring 6 pine tree blocks with a printed border. It is machine pieced and quilted with poly batting. It measures 8” x 10.5” and has 2 plastic rings attached for hanging. In good condition. 1 small Christmas art quilt made by Bobbie Aug featuring 3 blocks (1 log cabin, and 2 primitive pine tree blocks). There is also a spray of mixed button accents. The quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted with a thin poly batting. It measures 6.5” x 14.5” and is signed by Bobbi Aug. There is also an attached sleeve for handing. In good condition. 1 primitive country themed art quilt made by Bobbi Aug featuring tree, house, and star blocks in a mix of cottons. It is machine pieced and machine quilted with a poly batting. It measures 11 3/4” x 13” and it is signed by Bobbie Aug. There are also 2 tabs sewn to the top of the quilt for hanging. In good condition. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
