Vintage c1940 Rare Trifari Crown Brooch by Alfred Philippe. This vintage c1940 Trifari royal moonstone crown brooch features a sterling setting with rose gold plating and was designed by Alfred Philippe and has a variety of both prong set and bezel set rhinestones/cabochons in shades of blue, red, and opalescent glass faux moonstones. This was the largest piece from the series in the mid 1940s. It measures 2 1/4” wide by 1.5” high and is in good/fair condition with wear to the gold tone finish, wear to the bezel settings 1 faux moonstone cab has a crack and the other has a back facing chip.
