Vintage c1940 Carved Bone Skull Cufflinks and Tie Bar Set. This vintage c1940 men’s dress set features a gold tone 950 sterling tie bar with a large hand carved human skull with white teeth as well as matching gold tone 950 sterling cufflinks with smaller applied hand carved human skulls with white teeth. This set was most likely made in Japan as the skulls have traditional Japanese styling. The tie bar measures just over 1.5” wide by 1.5” high, the cufflinks measure 1” high by 1 1/4” wide. The set includes its original paper box. The maker of the set is unknown and it is in fair condition with yellowing to the bone skulls, as well as some chipping and breakage to the jaws of the skulls in the set.
