Pair of Antique c1920 Uzbek/Afghani Tribal Wall Hangings. The group includes 1 antique c1920 Uzbek tribal featuring a full embroidered front panel in multi colored tribal geometric patterns in shades of red, green, blue, white and yellow. It also has a woven passementerie trim and 3, triple tiered tassels in maroon with nickel silver and glass bead accents. it is backed in 2 different red and white floral printed cottons. The piece measures 15.5” wide by 24.5” long, the tassels each measure 9” long. In good/fair condition with toning, fading, and a watermark but it is still a very stable piece. Also included is 1 antique c1920 Uzbek tribal bag/pouch (possibly a single saddle bag) featuring multi colored cruel work embroidery in tribal patterns on a red cotton ground as well as an embroidered applied trim border and 3 double tiered tassels win maroon and green with metallic thread knots and glass bead accents. The piece is backed in a blue and white floral printed cotton with a black ground. The piece measures 12.5” wide by 19.5” long, the top opening measures 11” wide, the tassels measure 6” long.
