Group of 3 Antique c1920 Uzbek/Afghani Tribal Wall Hangings. The group includes 3 antique c1920 Uzbek tribal wall hangings, featuring 1 rectangular hand embroidered wall hanging measuring 39” long by 17” wide with beautifully executed colorful tribal designs in cotton thread and metallic thread accents. The piece is backed in a yellow, orange, and brown cotton plaid and the bottom edge of the piece has a green crocheted edge where tassels would have originally hung. It is in good/fair condition with age related fading, a few spots, damaged crochet and missing tassels. 1 antique c1920 V shaped wall hanging measuring 30” long by 5” wide and features hand embroidered bands in a tribal geometric pattern in shades of white, plum, blue, and green cotton thread with an applied multicolored 4” long twisted cotton fringe edge. It is backed in a floral stripe printed cotton and edged in a navy blue cotton canvas. It is in good/fair condition with fading to several colors in the embroidery and 3.5” long missing section of fringe on one end. 1 antique c1920 V shaped wall hanging measuring 20.5” long by 3.5” wide and features hand embroidered tribal geometric pattern in shades of green, red, yellow, and white on a black ground with a 6” long applied multicolor twisted fringe featuring a clear glass seed bead at the end of each strand. It is backed in a lacey striped printed cotton and is in good condition with minor fading to the green embroidery. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
