The group includes 4 self assembled scrap books used for textile design inspiration. book #27 features 48 double sided pages featuring a mix of themed clippings such as conversationals, figurals, animals, embroidery, geometrics, and more. Great textile research reference and resource, and embroidery resource! 1 book features 24 double sided pages of vintage hand stamped French wallpaper samples in a variety of colors and styles. 1 book features 40 double sides pages featuring both color and black and white clippings of mainly dogs and a mix of other animals. 1 book features 9 double sided pages of both color and black and white clipping related to a variety of sports. The group is in good/fair condition with some of the bindings beginning to split and some of the pages becoming brittle at the edges. This collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
