Group of 3 Professionally Assembled Original Textile Designs- Tie Dyes, Resists, and Florals. The group includes 3 books of original vintage designs by textile designer Ella D. Katz from Bronx NY. Book #50 features 14 original colorful hand made textile designs in a mix of graphic prints, they are created in different mediums such as ink, water color, and cyanotype. Book #48 features 55 original hand made colorful textile designs in a mix of graphic prints for tie dye, resist prints, geometrics, and florals. They are made in a mix of mediums such as ink and watercolor with some having hand applied painted and marker accents. Book #46 features 64 original hand made textile patterns in a wide array of styles such as florals, geometrics, and stripes. They were produced using a mix of ink, water color, marker, and paint. All but 1 of the patterns is hand painted on a piece of fabric using acrylics. The group is in good condition with age related wear such as frayed bindings, toning to the pages and yellowing of the old tape used to mount the designs. Original Vintage Textile Designs, Art Work, many are hand painted florals and geometrics. This collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
