Description
This Antique c1880 Hexagon and Star Cheater Quilt or Simulated Patchwork Print was made by Cocheco Mills, NH. It measures 80 x 85 inches. It is comprised of 3+ widths of fabric each about 23.5 inches wide, and hand pieced. The print is mostly brown, off white, and shade of blue. The print is made to look like quilt blocks with stars and embroidered hexagons. There is no batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand on 3 sides, and knife edge along 1 side, by hand. It is in fair condition with minor fading, small spots, water spots, and bleeding. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
