Description
Vintage c1940 Kaleidoscope Quilt measuring 83 x 83 inches. It is comprised of 16 blocks, 18.5 x 18.5 inches, set straight, 4 by 4. There is a 4.5 inch blue with white. Print border. The fabric placement creates the kaleidoscope motif and the secondary star designs between each octagon shape. There is a thin cotton batting and off white cotton muslin reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by machine. Quilt is machine pieced, and hand quilted. In good condition with just a few spots and discolorations.
