Description
Antique c1900 4X Star in Garden Maze Quilt measuring 77 x 81 inches. It is comprised of 5 4X Star blocks, 8 x 8 inches, set straight, 5 by 5, in a 5 inch wide Garden Maze or Chain setting. There is a 2.5-5 inch off white outer border. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is an off white cotton backing and thin cotton batting. The edge is finished with and applied binding using indigo fabric. All the indigo in the blocks and sashing is a tiny white star motif. It is in good condition with just a few small spots, discolorations. From a Wisconsin Collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
