Description
Includes a vintage c1930 Shoo Fly quilt measuring 60 x 90 inches. Comprised of 77 squares, 8 x 8 inches, with 38 pieced Shoo Fly blocks and 39 solid yellow alternating squares, they are set straight, 7 by 11, with a 3.5 inch solid yellow border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied yellow cotton binding. It is in fair condition with a major storage line discoloration across the center, and other small spots. Along with a vintage c1940 Pink with Tiny Pink Floral Print Grecian Square Quilt measuring 72 x 81 inches. Comprised of 49 Grecian Squares, 10.5 x 10.5 inches, set straight, 7 by 7, with partial squares along the top and bottom, possibly cut down. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There is a medium loft cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse with faded polka dots. The edge is finished with and applied white bias tape binding on 2 sides and a pink applied binding on the other 2 sides. It is in poor condition with fading, spots, storage discoloration, edge wear, and a tear. From a Wisconsin Collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
