Vintage Fabric Sample Collection-Silks and more. The self-assembled collection includes a wide range of both loose and mounted self-assembled fabric samples ranging from the 1880s to the 1960s. Some of the fabrics included are antique German striped and ribbed silks and satins, antique homespun ticking, and 165 mounted samples in a range of fabrics, including a vintage 1962 Italian sample card from Alberto & Roy. The collection is in good/fair condition with many of the antique silks beginning to become brittle and shatter. This fabric sample collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
