Description
Antique 1835 Woven Figured and Fancy Coverlet , unsigned, but dated with origin Benton, NY. It is red and off white, and features Double Roses motifs in the field, weeping willows in the side borders, and eagles with shields and trees, along the bottom. Double weave. It measures 80×87″. Two bottom corners are is woven the 1835 Benton, NY. There is no fringe, and a hand sewn center seam. It is in good condition with only a few small pulls, some wear, spots, and overall toning.
