Description
Vintage c1930s Tonganoxie 9 Patch Quilt, believed to be from Kalona area of Iowa, measures 72″x 83″. It is comprised of 42 blocks, 9 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ , set straight, 6×7 with 1.5″ blue print sashing & inner border and red print cornerstones. There is a 1″ grey print outer border. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting, a blue chambray reverse, & the edge is finished with a blue chambray applied binding. It is in fair condition with some fading, small spots, fabric deterioration, and edge wear along one side. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
