Description
Vintage c1940 Poppy variation Applique Quilt measuring 87 by 90 inches. It is comprised of 4 blocks, 33 by 34 inches, set straight, 2 x 2, with an 11 inch off white border. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by machine. Quilting motifs include an interesting acorn design in the corners and in the center.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with several dark discolorations, spots and the pencil lines for quilting are evident. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
