Panama (Guna Yala), circa 1970s, 17.5 x 23 inches (each panel)
A matched pair of orange-ground molas, each presenting two large star-in-circle medallions side by side, their points and surrounding field packed with multicolor maze-like hook and triangle motifs in black, red, blue, green, and yellow. The mirrored twin-medallion layout and dense filler work are well-matched in composition, color, and technique across both panels, consistent with their origin as a coordinated blouse pair.

A red-ground composition built from large interlocking geometric forms outlined in gray, green, and orange, their fields filled with concentric bands and small triangular accents in yellow, blue, pink, and purple. .
Panama (Guna Yala), circa 1970s, 17 x 20.5 inches
A dark-ground composition dominated by sprawling red and orange scrollwork and spiral forms interspersed with small flower medallions in yellow, red, and blue. The flowing curvilinear design and spiral motifs reflect the maker’s interest in organic, plant-derived forms, a recurring theme in Guna decorative work.

Condition report:
Poor condition. Fabric loss, holes, fading, wear, and spots. In house Flat Rate US Shipping of $15 for 1 -10 molas, $5 each additional 10 molas. Insurance is additional and required.
