Matched pair of reverse appliqué mola panels featuring repeating rows of interlocking stepped scroll motifs, worked in three layers of black, red, turquoise blue, orange, and pink cotton. Sophisticated multi-depth color play with each layer revealed through concentric channels of angular cutwork. Fully filled allover composition with strong rhythmic repetition and consistent hand-stitching throughout. One panel retains a decorative appliqué sawtooth border.
