Description
Antique c1890 Churn Dash Quilt measuring 69×70″. It is comprised of blocks, 7 by 7 inches, set on point and staggered in a tan print Streak of Lightning pattern 3.5 inches wide. There are partial blocks along the top and bottom and tan print setting triangles along the sides. There is a 1.25 inch shirting print inner border and a 5 inch tan print outer border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white print reverse. The edge is finished with a claret print applied binding.
Condition report:
It is in fair condition with storage line discoloration, fading (including the claret print binding), and several spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
