Description
Antique c1870 Mariners Compass Quilt with an orange bedskirt that was applied c1940. The quilt measures 37 by 77 inches, and the bedskirt is 20 inches wide along 3 sides. There are 10 9.5 inch diameter Compass blocks that are hand pieced but machine applied to the white ground, 2 by 5. The white ground is machine pieced. It is machine quilted with thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse.
Condition report:
The orange bedskirt is applied by machine. It is in good condition with a few small spots and fading to triangles. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
