Description
Antique c1890 Boston Commons Quilt measuring 66 by 70 inches. It is comprised of 2 inch squares with color placement creating the trip around the world design. There is a 1.25 inch inner border and a 2.25 inch pink print outer border. There is an additional 2 inch beige print border along 2 sides. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a blue stripe reverse. The edge is finished with an indigo print applied binding. The quilt has a patriotic feel with indigo prints and claret prints.
Condition report:
It is in fair condition with the center fabric deteriorated, overall fading, and several seams need to be resewn. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
