Description
Antique 19th Century Printed Patchwork and Samples. There is a printed patchwork sample from the 18th century. It has a backing to preserve it for conservation. It measures 23″x58″. There is a printed design with floral motifs, stripes, and geometrics. It has toned with age but it is in good condition. Included as well are 19 pages with fragments and some which are loose and are not mounted. There is a paper for Washington Prints, Pilgrim Reds, Allens Reds, and more. There are some pieces from 1875-1900. They are in good condition but the paper fragments have some wear to them. From the Paul Pilgrim and Gerald Roy Archive.
