Description
4 Antique Quilteed Fragments. A white 9.5″x10″ quilted block is included. It features trapunto quilting to give the piece a raised effect. An intricate flower wreath is featured and there are several spots. An applique and embroidered quilt piece is included. It is dated 1933 and it was a birthday gift for someone named Gerald by his Mother. There are some spots and the binding is frayed. A red 8″x11″ fragment with embroidery in yellow and blue. The edges are slightly fringed and the piece was used as practice for different forms of embroidery. The last piece is a quilted fragment from 1850. There are orange patterned triangles on a green background. It is 8″x90″ and it is in good condition. From the Paul Pilgrim and Gerald Roy Archive.
