Description
Antique c1860 Red and White Coverlet measuring 79 by 80 inches with 3 inch red wool self fringe along 3 sides. Believed to be a jacquard woven coverlet. Medallion style with a star in the center surrounded by a wreath of flowers, a wreath of leaves, against fields of a geometric half square triangle motif, similar to a quilt, with flowers in the corners. There are borders on all 4 sides with rococo style scrolling motifs and botanical elements in the corners.
Condition report:
In good condition with several small discolorations, areas of fading, and weaving errors are evident. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $40 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
