Description
Antique c1900 Puss in the Corner Quilt measuring 67 by 83 inches. It is comprised of 42 blocks, 8 by 8 inches, set straight, 6 by 7. There is a 2.5 inch pink shirting sashing with 4 Patch cornerstones. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied indigo print binding. The quilt has a nice variety of prints including indigo, clarets, and a nice early purple print that has not gone fugitive yet. On the reverse are hand embroidered initials WHF.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with only a few small spots and minor discoloration. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
