Description
Vintage c1940 Double Irish Chain Quilt measuring 81 by 89 inches. It is comprised of 9025 square blocks, 5.5 inches by 5.5 inches, set on point, 9 by 10, with white school on point squares with pink solid square appliqué corners for setting blocks and partial block setting triangles. There is a 3.5″ white scalloped border. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied solid pink bias tape binding.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with overall toning, spots, minor loss stitched seams, and pencil lines for quilting are evident. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
