Description
Includes is a group of Vintage animal focused samples or swatches as textiles and picture clippings. There is a folder which features about 60 pieces of paper from calendars, magazines, news clippings, wallpapers, and more. These pieces feature a large collection of zoo animals, horses, birds, deer, and more on pieces of paper that are about 3″x3″ to about 8″x10″. There are engravings from 1836 from the book The Natural History of Parrots, pieces from the American Wildlife Ecology, 1995 calendars, and undated newspaper clippings. Alongside those are textile samples that are primarily cotton with some polyester blends included. They are unfinished pieces of samples from a larger piece and there are about 25 pieces more or less. These feature cats, deer, moose, various dog breeds, zebras, and more with a focus on zoo animals. The pieces range from small pieces about 2″ wide to handkerchief sizes and other pieces with about 2′ to them. The printed textiles are from the mid century to present day and the majority are in good condition. This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
