Description
There is a combination of Vintage swatches with the majority mounted on white paper. Featured patterns are florals, plaids, jacquards, geometrics, stripes, and more. There are 13 white pages which feature printed gauze in light colors. There are sometimes multiple swatches per page for the collections. Some toning and age spots present on these swatches The other grouping is of small, ivory jacquards with there being a total of 11 white pages with 1 or 2 swatches mounted on each page. The ivory jacquards feature an array of geometric designs on each piece. There are some age spots and toning present. In addition, there are 11 white pages with another set of light ivory gauzy jacquards and lions. There are geometrics, florals, and abstracts featured on the swatches which has the expected age spots and toning. The last grouping is of geometrics and florals. There are 27 loose fabric swatches with floral and geometric designs on them. A hand painted floral swatch is included. In addition, there are 57 formerly mounted fabric swatches with floral designs and geometric accents. These pieces are a mix of silks, jacquards, printed, and other pieces. Overall, the collection depicts early 20th and mid century modern fabric designs. The pieces are the size of the palm to the forearm. There are age spots, toning, and discoloration present. This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
