Description
There are two sets of pajamas from Hong Kong that date to the 1940s with one being a pants set and the other a nightgown. The pants set is a green color with gold accents and it is by Mohan’s, a tailor shop in Kowloon, Hong Kong. On the inside of the sleepshirt, the name Mrs Wm. D. Townsend is embroidered with gold thread. There are frog closures down the front and pockets on each side of the silk shirt/jacket. The satin silk brocade set features traditional floral patterns alongside geometrics. The lining on the jacket/shirt is a bright yellow which matches the decorative accents on the outside. It has long sleeves and there are slits on the back. Color transfer on the inside, spots on the exterior, with some rips on the exterior. The pants are long and are made from the same fabric. A side zipper alongside hook and eye closures. Frog closures are along the ankles. Some areas where the brocade thread has ripped. The pants have the following measurements of Length: 37″ and Waist: 14″. Laid flat, the jacket/shirt has Measurements: Length: 29″, Shoulders: 14″, Chest: 20″, and Sleeves: 23″. Also included is a blue silk satin brocade nightgown from Hong Kong. There is a zipper along the back. The nightgown features long sleeves and traditional floral and geometric patterns in dark blue and silver embroidery. A spot on the front and some pinches on the brocade. There are slits at the bottom. Laid flat: Length: 51.5″, Shoulders: 14″, Sleeves: 21″, and Chest: 19″. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.
